Willhelm, The Paladin King - Illustration for Castle Wars

This is an illustration I created for the TTPRPG Caster Wars. If I'm not mistaken, it was the second of dozens.

The company asked me to create a paladin character who conveyed a very strong presence, wielding a huge sword that would frighten enemies and be aided by mages. Since the faction's description stated that they were a proud people, I decided to use gestalt and make the helmet resemble a lion's head. Here's the result.
